The Family Dispute Resolution Register comprises details of organisations funded by
the Government to provide family dispute resolution services as well as all accredited
family dispute resolution practitioners that have agreed to their details being made public.
Search for an accredited family dispute resolution practitioner by LOCATION
By Town/Suburb or Postcode
To find an accredited family dispute resolution practitioner that services your local area,
type in the name of your town/suburb in the Town/Suburb field OR simply type in your
postcode in the Postcode field. You do not need to enter the state or any other
search criteria.
By State
If you wish to find all accredited family dispute resolution practitioners in your state,
just select the name of the state from the drop-down list in the State field. You do
not need to enter any other search criteria.
In Australia
To find all accredited family dispute resolution practitioners in Australia, select ‘All’
in the State field. You do not need to enter any other search criteria.

- legally assisted –where the parties want to bring their lawyers to the family dispute resolution
- face – for face to face services
- telephone – for practitioners who provide family dispute resolution by telephone
- free – for practitioners who provide family dispute resolution at no cost

Search for an accredited family dispute resolution practitioner by LOCATION and the OPTIONAL field
To refine your search to obtain a list of accredited family dispute resolution practitioners most
relevant to your needs, you can combine location and optional search criteria.
Example 1: You may wish to find all accredited family dispute resolution practitioners in
Coffs Harbour that can assist in resolving a child support dispute. In this situation you
would type ‘Coffs Harbour’ in the Town/Suburb search field and ‘child support’ in the

Boolean search queries
This search facility also includes the options to use Boolean search queries such as ‘and’ and ‘or’.
AND
Including ‘and’ in the search facility will return all accredited family dispute resolution practitioner
entries containing both words.
For example, you can ‘property and free’ type in the Optional search field to return all accredited

OR
